Johnny Restrup-Sørensen

• I have developed this photography website in order to share my experiences and to make interest for good photo art via my own pictures and with references to proficient photographers and artmakers.
• I love to make observations of the nature and landscapes, and to explore and document the environment and locations via my camera. I am driven by nature and the variation of light. To find the right Photo Motifs is an everlasting joy.

My interest for photography started when my granddad gave me an AGFA box camera in an age of 8 years. A new exciting world began.

Second time I discovered the subtle world of photography was when 19 years of age, I started the education of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. I realized how important your camera is to document and to express the good and prosperous architectural design ideas. I had the pleasure of being educated by Keld Helmer-Petersen one of the most influential Danish photographers in the 20th Century. He was an international pioneer in colour photography and was a central figure in not only Danish but also European modernist photography. 

Furthermore, I experienced from the education that almost every lecture presented the first year, took picture analysis of the most iconic sights like Alhambra as a starting point. 

Ever since - I have captured the nature, landscape, cityscapes, architecture a.o. in innumerable occasions.

I will describe my figurative language as exploring, realistic and authentic. I do always seek to communicate a feeling with great emphasis on
