The Faroe Islands or “sheep islands” are 18 islands in the North East Atlantic. The beautiful green islands are a self-governing part of the Danish Realm. The close proximity provides you as visitor with a variety of experiences of nature – from dramatic landscapes meeting the wild ocean to the peacefulness of the mountains to the nightlife of the capital Tórshavn.
Bringing your camery with you will give you lots of opportunities to capture amazing pictures. I visited the Faroe Islands in 2016 on a 4 days trip in splendid weather conditions and I am looking forward to return for more experiences. I have chosen to show you a few selected pictures from Mulafossur, Hvalvik, Hosvik and Slaettaratindur.
